Laos is a rapidly developing country and with this development comes the impact on the environment.  Lone Buffalo believe in educating our students in both global and local issues.

Teachers observe World Earth Day with lesson plans about the environment.  Lone Buffalo has a recycling station at school where plastic, cans and paper are collected for recycling.  Our paper and printing policies ensure only recyclable materials are used for student events and parties.

Lone Buffalo offer students use of rechargeable batteries in their homes - they simply return them to the LB recharge stations when they run flat.

Lone Buffalo student/Director Teng Vue Fai Dang approaches the subject of the environment in his independently produced short films, ‘A Value of Life’ and ‘S.A.D.N.E.S.S. and the Environment’.
